The scholarship is intended for students currently attending a qualified information studies degree-granting program and for new professionals. The awardee will also receive a membership to a professional association. Funding will provide for conference registration, transportation, housing, and a stipend.

In-kind donations of books to USA, Canada, and International youth-serving agencies and institutions to encourage reading among children and youth. The program is intended to provide books produced by African American authors and illustrators to build organizational libraries and bring books into the lives of children.

Grants of $750 to USA, Canada, and International K-12 teachers, community college faculty members, and community college students to support participation in the earth science disciplines. Awards will be made to educators and students in support of the following activities:

Award of $1,000 to a USA media exhibit, written work, or public program for an outstanding project that has enhanced public appreciation of North American West history. Awards to USA public or private schools under the direction of an LEA, Charter Management Organization (CMO), or the Bureau of Indian Education for establishing and implementing evidence-based health practices. Grants to USA nonprofit organizations for medical and veterinary initiatives. Funding is intended to support activities in the following focus areas: education, environment, animals, and health. Preference will be given to treatment of muscular dystrophy and to support scholarships for veterinary students.

Grants of up to $50,000 and grants of up to $60,000 to USA, Canada, and International researchers who are affiliated with nonprofit organizations, such as IHEs, school districts, and research facilities, for research projects in the field of education. Funding is intended to support field-initiated academic research studies spanning a range of disciplines and topics that explore improvements in education. Funded projects may pertain to any stage or level from early childhood to adult learning, and may focus on contexts outside of school.

Grants to USA doctoral students for research projects related to hearing science and audiology. Funding is intended to support studies that promote the advancement of the study of communication disorders and sciences and impact relevant clinical issues. Students may be enrolled in either a clinical or research academic program.

Grants of $2,000 to USA graduate students for research projects related to speech-language pathology and communication sciences. Funding is intended to support studies that address language development in preschool children and in children at the earliest school developmental level. Preference will be given to research addressing populations who are early verbal in their language production and use.

Cooperative agreements to USA and territories Tribes, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, IHEs, and for-profits for habitat conservation projects. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to finalize. The principal objective of this solicitation is to support transformational habitat restoration projects that restore marine, estuarine, coastal, or Great Lakes ecosystems, using approaches that enhance community and ecosystem resilience to climate hazards.

Funding is intended for the purchase of chocolate milk for one sport per semester for two semesters. The current grants are for the Fall 2025 semester. Grants to USA nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher learning, and local education agencies for research activities and projects related to Veterans' cemeteries. The fellowship program is intended to support innovative research projects in subjects that include, but are not limited to, economics, sociology, political science, and international relations. The goals of the program are to promote Japan studies in the United States, encourage U.S.-Japanese scholarly exchange, and foster the next generation of Japan scholars in the United States.

Grants of $40,000 to USA, Canada, and UK nonfiction writers to complete works already in progress. Topics include, but are not limited to philosophy, graphic nonfiction, memoir, biography, history, food or travel writing, the sciences, personal essays, criticism, and cultural or political reportage. The work should be intended for a general, not academic, adult reader. Projects must be under contract with a publisher in the US, UK, or Canada to be eligible.

Grants and cooperative agreements to USA and territories networks and partnerships of public and private entities for workforce development in the field of commercial fishing in eligible locations. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Awards are intended to develop and execute local, regional, and national programs, workshops, and services to enable fishermen to enter career paths and make a living supplying seafood from oceans, coasts, and Great Lakes.

Grants to USA nonprofit and government entities to administer a fusion science research program to encourage cooperation between private and public research facilities. Applicants must submit a preliminary application and complete the required registrations prior to the deadline.

Fellowship to a USA, Canada, or International PhD, MD, or the equivalent for research studies related to renal cell carcinoma. Funding is intended for clinical, basic, translational, or population sciences research. The purpose of the grant program is to support applicants in their pursuit of a career in renal cancer research.

Grants of up to $20,000 and in-kind support to USA and territories institutions of higher education for smoke-free policy development and outreach programs. Funding is intended for tobacco and vape-free programs and costs including marketing and educational materials, expenses, and office supplies. The purpose of the program is to support either the adoption or implementation and enforcement of a 100% tobacco/vape-free policy and promote quitting.
