FELINES and FRIENDS IS A "SECOND CHANCE" RESCUE AND PLACEMENT ORGANIZATION FOCUSING ON PROVIDING VET CARE AND SOCIALIZATION FOR CATS AND KITTENS WHO MIGHT NOT OTHERWISE FIND HOMES THROUGH ANIMAL SHELTERS. SINCE 2002, WE HAVE PLACED OVER 4,000 CATS AND KITTENS WITH AN AVERAGE RESCUE COST OF $300. HOWEVER, EACH YEAR A NUMBER OF CATS REQUIRE EXTRAORDINARY VET CARE SUCH AS DENTAL AND OPHTHALMIC PROCEDURES. FELINE and FRIENDS IS THE ONLY ORGANIZATION OF ITS TYPE SERVING SANTA FE AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. THROUGH OUR PUBLIC OUTREACH AND EDUCATION, WE ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE.
